Assessment Day at Carson Street School.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

Alhamdulillah, we decided to enrolled Muja at Carson Street School for kindy next year on Conductive Education. Today we went there for an assessment. Alhamdullillah, she was in her best mood. Although she looked tired, she done well in the assessment.

The staffs at that school was very friendly. I was touched seeing how caring people can be to the special needs children. I think carer is doing an amazing unselfish work to other who is in needs. I saw two other girls who we meet at TCCP attending the class that Muja is going to.

The assessment was also video recorded on the following:

1 Sitting herself on the floor without support. Legs straight and arms support herself.
2 Laying down on her back. Turning her head from left to right. She didn't turn head when a musical instrument was shaking on her other side of the head. Holding rattle on her hand and change hand with help.
3 Rolling from side to side and rest on her tummy with her head up with help.
4 Crawling with the arm wraps. She was doing it really well with the help of the arm wraps. She pushes her leg forward without help. She hold her body weight and her head was up.
5 Sitting on a stool on 5 counts. She tends to fall to her side.
6 Standing with the help of wallbars.
7 Walking using the wallbars. Once she grap it, she push it forward and try to take a step. Masha Allah I believe one day she will walk, Insha Allah. With Allah help everything is posible.
8 Sitting on the stool while holding on a the sides of stool.
9 Playing with toys while sitting and looking herself in the mirror.

Masha Allah I did not realised how clever she is and she has huge improved on her ability to learn. Subhana Allah, on the assessment day I was a proud mother of my Muja, who has cerebral palsy and in special needs. Alhamdulillah, she is the best gift from Allah for me and our family.
