Homeopathic remedies for fear.

I found this in Muja's Homeopath, Kate, Arnica Montana Newsletter March 2004. Hope she doesn't mind I copy paste the Homeopathic remedies for fear. So here what she wrote about the remedies.

Fear is intense, so much so that the patient becomes frantic, screams, groans, gnaws the fist, bites the nails, want s to die .May even predict the hour of
death. Sadly we see these scenes on our televisions every day on the news where there have been explosions and bloodshed. These patients are much worse around midnight and may wake up terrified at this time –especially children. There is great anxiety, agonizing fear, and restlessness. Fear of death, of crowds, or crossing the streets, torture. Afraid to go out of the house –often in old people. Terror stricken.

Argentum Nitricum
Fear of impending evil. What if? Thoughts like this always in the mind – churning stomach, may have diarrhea with the anxiety. Makes lists about what they have to do in case they forget. Impulsive behavior which they cannot seem to control – wants to eat lots of sweets as a comfort. Fear of high buildings, crowds, of the dark. Has to hurry and walk fast.

Patient is in shock and says he is alright though obviously isn’t. Fear of being struck or touched, or approached, of sickness or instant death at night, of crowds, public places. Speaks slowly with effort when spoken to. Easily frightened –small things make him jump.

Arsenicum Album
Oversensitive, demanding, anxious, fussy, fault finding, over attention to detail –everything must be tidy and in order – i.e. if the world outside is disordered then at least their part of it must be neat and tidy –this way they can feel more secure in their immediate environment. Fear of death from starvation, of financial loss. Fear of being left alone in case he does himself harm. Sees vermin and insects. Pulls hair, bites nails, paces the floor

A state of weakness and collapse brought on by dread shocks ordeals –anxiety about death and pain. Wants to lie down all the time, but fears his heart may stop beating if he doesn’t keep moving Excessive trembling and weakness of the limbs. Ill effects of fright, fear, depressing emotions, anger, bad news, unpleasant surprises.

Alert over sensitive nervous-takes deep breaths may hyperventilate causing fainting. May sob and/or sigh a lot. Spasms with cries or involuntary laughter –irrational behaviour – e.g. may burst into tears in supermarket doesn’t know why. Fears he may never sleep again which keeps him awake all night.

Fears being alone – especially at twilight, of ghosts, about the future, of thunderstorms, of something creeping out from a corner. Timid and can’t make decisions. Anxious restless can’t keep still for a moment. worse in the dark or at twilight.

New scheduled for Muja's homeopathic appointment.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

It has been a while I haven't update Muja's progress. Insha Allah, I will do it when I am free a bit. It's summer holiday here and I am busy with visitors as well.

Two weeks ago Muja had her homeopathic appointment at Owen Homeopathic Center in Redcliff with Kate, a homeopath who owned Arnica Montana. The night before she was teething and her tummy was not well. She was not sleeping until after Fajr at 5.00 in the morning. I was staying up with her the whole night like I did before that night for two weeks since I came back from Hajj.

After she slept then I went to sleep. When I woke up it was quarter to ten. Muja's appointment was at ten. It took me 30 minutes to drive to the center and another half an hour to get ready. I was so late for that appointment so I called Kate and told her my situation. Masha Allah, she was so understanding and scheduled for another appointment at 12 noon that day. I appreciated her understanding very much. If you read this Kate, thank you again.

This time she was prescribed with Tub (tuberculinum) 1M and Cal Carb(calcium carbonate) 200 and 1M.

Anyway she is teething, Alhamdulillah. Again. Insha Allah her other 2 top front incisors are coming out. I don't know when but her gum is so blue. Alhamdulillah, she had wonderful sleeping pattern before she started teething. Now she sleep late, like 3 am.

Please make sincere repentance to Allah before as Ali (ra) said, "Today is deed without reckoning and tomorrow is reckoning without deeds". Sincere repentance has four conditions :

Feeling bad for the sin

Firm commitment in intention not to repeat sin (whether it happens again is not a condition if one tried his best)

Make repentance to Allah by Du'a and asking or better crying for forgiveness

If some person has been wronged because of this sin then one needs to make up to this person.

Generosity is also specially rewarded on Ashura.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

"Whoever is generous to himself

will have Allah's generosity bestowed on him

Muharram, Ashura and fasting

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

Taken from here.

There is nothing intrinsically divine about months, except in instances where Allah Subhanahu wa ta’aala characterised them with sacredness.

Abu Bakra narrated that RasoolAllah SalAllahu alaihi wasallam said during the Khutbah tul-wadaa’a (the farewell speech), "The division of time has turned to its original form which was current when Allah created the Heavens and the Earth. The year is of twelve months, out of which four months are sacred: Three are in succession Dhul-Qa' da, Dhul-Hijja and Muharram, and (the fourth is) Rajab of (the tribe of) Mudar which comes between Jumada ath-Thani and Sha’ ban." (Bukhari and Muslim).

The sacred month of Muharram is again upon us within which is contained both a great reward and an expiation of our sins.

Within this sacred month is a day of great significance, a day of fasting. Before the fasting of Ramadhan became obligatory, Muslims were ordered to fast on the 10th Muharram, the day of ‘Ashura. When Allah Subhanahu wa ta’aala commanded the believers to fast the month of Ramadhan the fast of the day of ‘Ashura was made a recommended act of worship.

The mother of the believers ‘Aisha RadiAllahu anha reported that Allah’s Messenger salAllahu alaihi wasallam said: "The people used to fast on ‘Ashura (the tenth day of the month of Muharram) before the fasting of Ramadan was made obligatory. And on that day the Ka'ba used to be covered with a cover. When Allah made the fasting of the month of Ramadan compulsory, Allah's Messenger said, "Whoever wishes to fast (on the day of ‘Ashura') may do so; and whoever wishes to leave it can do so." (Bukhari)

Thereafter the Messenger of Allah SalAllahu alaihi wasallam and his Sahabah RadiAllahu anhum continued to fast until they arrived in Madina after the hijrah.

Ibn 'Abbas reported, When the Prophet came to Madina, he found (the Jews) fasting on the day of ‘Ashura' (i.e. 10th of Muharram). They used to say: "This is a great day on which Allah saved Musa and drowned the folk of Fir’awn. Musa observed the fast on this day, as a sign of gratitude to Allah." The Prophet said, "I am closer to Musa than they." So, he observed the fast (on that day) and ordered the Muslims to fast on it. (Bukhari)

Fasting on the 10th Muharram (‘Ashura) is therefore an established action of Allah’s Messenger for which there is great reward. It is an action performed for Allah Subhanahu wa ta’aala’s sake alone in thanks to Him for saving our prophet Musa alaihi salaam from the tyrant Fir’awn who persecuted the believers for no other reason that they believed in Allah and sought to destroy his throne of tyranny and corruption.

It has also been established that the fasting of the day of ‘Ashura should be preceded by the fast of the 9th Muharram as a way of distinguishing the fasting from the Jews and the Christians.

Ibn 'Abbas reported that when the Messenger of Allah SalAllahu alaihi wasallam fasted on the day of 'Ashura and commanded that it should he observed as a fast, they (his Companions) said to him: Messenger of Allah, it is a day which the Jews and Christians hold in high esteem. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When the next year comes, God willing, we would observe fast on the 9th But the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) died before the advent of the next year.

Also Imam At-Tirmidhi reported that Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say: "We should fast on two days: the 9th and 10th of Muharram to distinguish ourselves from the Jewish community. "(At-Tirmidhi)

Rewards of fasting and expiation

The entirety of the month of Muharram contains fasting that comes second only to that observed during the month of Ramadhan.

Abu Hurayrah RadiAllahu anhu reported: "I asked the Prophet: 'Which Prayer is the best after the obligatory Prayers?' He said: 'Prayer during the middle of the night.' I asked: 'Which fasting is the best after that of Ramadhan?' He said, 'The month of Allah that you call Muharram’" (Ahmad, Muslim, and Abu Dawud).

Abu Huraira RadiAllahu anhu reports that Allah’s Messenger SalAllahu alaihi wasallam said that after Ramadan, the fasts of Muharram have the greatest excellence. [Sahih Muslim]

Abu Qatada RadiAllahu anha relates that Allah’s Messenger SalAllahu alaihi wasallam said that the fast on the 10th of Muharram atones for the sins of the preceding year. [Sahih Muslim]

This Muharram we should fast for Allah’s sake alone on the 9th and 10th or the 10th and 11th Muharram in order to distinguish ourselves from the Jews. We must also remember how Allah Subhanahu wa ta’aala saved Musa and the believers and destroyed Fir’awn and the people that followed him in his tyranny. We must have hope that Allah Subhanahu wa ta’aala will help His believers and remove the tyrannical rulers that are the descendants of Fir’awn and return the rule of Islam again to the lands of Rasool Allah SalAllahu alaihi wasallam, Musa alaihi salaam and all the anbiya and rasool that walked the earth.

May Allah enable us to be the tools of this change.

Islamic New Year 1st Muharram, 1429

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

They ask you,[O Muhammad], about the New Moons. Say, "They are measurements of time for the people and for hajj [Pilgrimage]." (Al-Quran 2:189)

Allah says: Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during the sacred months. (Al-Quran 9:36)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:“The best fasting after the month of Ramadaan is fasting in the month of Muharram.” (Narrated by Muslim)

Prophet (pbuh) said:...."fasting on the day of Aashura (the 10th of Muharram) gives forgiveness of one past year"

Maal Hijrah

The Islamic calendar, just like the Gregorian one has 12 months. Islamic Month are:

Value of Love

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

Last Breath by Hafiz

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

From those around I hear a Cry,
A muffled sob, a Hopeless sigh,
I hear their footsteps leaving slow,
And then I know my soul must Fly!

A chilly wind begins to blow,
Within my soul, from Head to Toe,
And then, Last Breath escapes my lips,
It's Time to leave. And I must Go!

So, it is True (But it's too Late)
They said: Each soul has its Given Date,
When it must leave its body's core,
And meet with its Eternal Fate.

Allahu Rabbuna Salimna (3X)

Oh mark the words that I do say,
Who knows? Tomorrow could be your Day,
At last, it comes to Heaven or Hell
Decide which now, Do NOT delay!

Come on my brothers let us pray
Decide which now, Do NOT delay!

Oh God! Oh God! I cannot see!
My eyes are Blind! Am I still Me
Or has my soul been led astray,
And forced to pay a Priceless Fee

Alas to Dust we all return,
Some shall rejoice, while others burn,
If only I knew that before
The line grew short, and came my Turn!

And now, as beneath the sod
They lay me (with my record flawed),
They cry, not knowing I cry worse,
For, they go home, I face my God!
Allahu Rabbi !

Oh mark the words that I do say,
Who knows, Tomorrow could be your Day,
At last, it comes to Heaven or Hell
Decide which now, Do NOT delay !

Come on my brothers let's pray
Decide which now, do not delay

Luxury facial treatment day in the comfort of my own home.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

Yesterday my daughters and me were doing manicure and today we were doing facial after lunch. Actually my mask was finished. So I made it using French active green clay mixed with rose water and jojoba oil. I also add essential oils of lemon myrtle, geranium and ylang ylang. After mixing it well I put it in the 60 g amber jar and close it with it's lid. Insha Allah, anytime I feel like using the mask it's ready to be used.

I felt like having a facial after making the mask. I asked my mother in law if she would like one. She didn't say no because it was a way of relaxing while her face was getting clean. My plan was to do it to others so then they will do it to me, Insha Allah.

While I was doing the facial to my mother in law my 6 years old daughter, Tas, wanted to help. Then she ended doing facial for her older sisters Hani and Khai. She was doing the simple facial steps of cleansing, exfoliating, toning and moisturising. I was doing a luxury facial treatment to my mother in law which including facial steam, mask and facial massage. She really enjoyed and felt relax while I touch her face gently.

Then it was my turn for facial. First I had my face steam using hot water in a mixing bowl. I add few drops of bergamot essential oil before I used a towel to cover my head and the bowl formed like tent. When I finished the steam which took about 10 minutes, I lay down on the floor in my lounge room to begin the luxury facial treatment from my daughter Hani.

Alhamdulillah, my daughter did the facial on me. The minutes she put her finger on me I felt relax. She clean my face with Misk Aroma Facial Cream Cleanser which I made using safflower oil and soy bean oil with essential oils of lavender, lemon and tea tree. Then she used two round facial sponges to clean my face and toning it with Misk Aroma Neroli Aromatic Mist before she exfoliating with Misk Aroma Glowing Facial Scrub made with safflower and soy bean oil, witch hazel extract, french active green clay and cocoa butter. I used walnut shell powder for exfoliation and added essential oils of lavender, ylang ylang and geranium. Again after cleaning my face Hani sprayed it with Misk Aroma Neroli Aromatic Mist.

After the exfoliating, Hani spread my face with the mask I made just before I started doing facial. She also cut two slices of cucumber and put them on my eyes. The mask took about 30 minutes to dry before she cleaned using wet sponges. In between the cleansing, exfoliating and mask, Hani sprayed a few mist of Misk Aroma Neroli Aromatic Mist to remove surplus dirt from the skin and also to refresh it.

Hani didn't know how to do facial massage so instead of massaging my face she just
moisturising it using Misk Aroma Rosehip Cream which I made using rosehip oil, macadamia oil. jojoba oil, cocoa and shea butters, vitamin E and essential oils of lavender, neroli, sandalwood, ylang ylang, rosewood and carot seed.

Masha Allah, I had a wonderful afternoon with my family doing facial to them and having it myself at the comfort of my own home.

Question: What is your advice to the one who has performed the obligatory (first) Hajj?

Response: My advice is that he should fear Allaah (and be aware of Him) in performing all that which Allaah has obligated upon him in terms of other acts of worship such as salaah, zakaah, fasting, honouring the parents, enjoining family ties and being good to the creation (of Allaah) and to the animals under ones ownership and other than this from that which Allaah has commanded with. That which encompasses all of this is the statement of Allaah:

{Verily, Allaah enjoins al-'Adl (justice) and al-Ihsaan (being patient in performing one's duties to Allaah), and giving (help) to kith and kin: and forbids al-Fahshaa. (all evil deeds), and al-Munkar (all that is prohibited), and al-Baghee (all kinds of oppression), He admonishes you, that you may take heed. And fulfill the Covenant of Allaah (Bay'ah: pledge for Islaam) when you have covenanted, and break not the oaths after you have confirmed them, and indeed you have appointed Allaah your surety. Verily! Allaah knows what you do}, [Soorah an-Nahl, Aayah's 90-91].

The signs of an accepted Hajj or 'Umrah

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

Fatwa from :

Question: Are there any signs which appear upon those whose performance of the Hajj or the 'Umrah is accepted?

Response: It is possible for there to be signs for the one whose Hajj, fasting, charity or prayer has been accepted by Allaah and they are: the opening of the heart (to good), happiness of the heart and a lighted face. Certainly, for worshipping (Allaah) there are signs that appear on the body, signs that are visible and signs that are hidden. Some of the Pious Predecessors have mentioned that from the signs that a good (act) has been accepted (by Allaah) is that he will be granted the towfeeq to do (yet) another good (act). Certainly the towfeeq of Allaah for him to do more good (acts) after it, is evidence that Allaah ('Azza wa Jall) has accepted his previous good (acts). He has made it easy for him to do another good act and is happy with him for it.
